As with all disease, prevention is always better than cure. There are several ways you can help reduce the chance of your cat developing dental disease.
The best way by no means is a combination of daily tooth brushing using pet safe toothpaste. (Don't use human toothpaste as it contains levels of fluoride, which is toxic to our pets!) and twice yearly visits to the vet to check your cat's teeth.
